The dictates of manual labor and the absence of cerebral activity

We dust, fry, bake, vacuum, and hang curtains. When we don't want to perform chores, we watch T.V.

Watching TV is work?

I guess it depends on what you're watching.

I'm grateful that I'm not a man.

We should all hope that manual labor and lack of cerebral activity are not mutually exclusive. Scientists, writers, and other such heady efforts sort of require an active mind.

I'm certain that most of us dusters, vacuumers, and cooks solve the world's problems as we create beauty, ambiance, and sustenance -- which is why we post here in between chores. It's possible world leaders are reading. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Absence of Cerebral Activity? I don't agree. We must focus on what we are doing or an accident or injury could occur. Wouldn't want to burn an article of clothing or burn myself when ironing by 'absence of cerebral activity'. Some 'wild hair up their UknowWhat' person doing a study again - they lack the cerebral activity to come up with such nonsense.
