Could be because this is the time of year when we are tired of looking at the same spring and summer things that the stores are full of and QVC is mostly Christmas and clearance of old stuff.  It sure is helping me with my self-imposed shopping ban.  I had bought 6 items the beginning of June and vowed to not buy any more that month as a first step iln my slow down.  It was pretty easy as I didn't see anything I really wanted.  We are now through the first week of July and I haven't bought anything; hopefully, I can get through July!  My problem will be when the Fall things start coming out in August.
