Daryl is the dark horse in this show....I don't think the producers ever expected his popularity and now that he is so popular it would be difficult to write him out of the show without a lot of work and preparation to build up to a storyline that would justify his death.....same with Rick....Rick is vastly popular too but in a different way.

I heard this season will follow the comic closer than any other seasons....but I don't read the comics so would have no idea if it does or not.

Can't wait! This is one of the few show that I make a point of watching on the same night it airs. I start early enough (our AMC HD channel is an east coast feed, so it airs at 6pm) so that I can watch Talking Dead right after. Love both shows! I usually start with WD about 8pm and I am finished with both hours by about 9:30.

I started to stream season 4 yesterday, forgetting how stressful it can be. It takes a bit to get accustomed to the anticipation and the Oh Sheet! I had to pause it to take care of real life in the knick of time. I can't wait to settle in and try it again!

Who would think a show about zombies would turn out to be such a quality show, eh? I still have the last episode of S04 saved in my deleted folder. I think I'll watch it again between now and Sunday.

From all I've been reading lately, S05 is going to be really great.

My husband is addicted to the Walking Dead and American Horror. (As are millions of people). I tried to watch both shows a few times, and they both turn me. Too gory. I must be getting old..lol...because I used to like gore. And the Vampire Diaries doesn't bother me. Well I tried.

My duaghter doesn't understand why I watch such violence. I explained that violence is not the reason I, along with so many people watch the show. It is about surviving and how it affects each one differently. It is about people looking after one another to keep them safe from a cruel world. It is about the strong and the weak. No matter what she thnks, I love the show!!!!

Will be watching the show tomorrow with eyes shut and fingers in ears . . . from reading on FB none of the major characters are on the Terminus menu. This cannibal story theme cannot be gone fast enough for me.

Yes, I'm wondering how it will be this year. I do like the show. But the gory zombies Don t bother me. If humans start being tortured and brutally killed by other humans, that will face t me. Weird, I know.
