Yes, and they call out bad behavior. Thankfully, we have someone in the media not afraid to speak up and refuse to be censored @PhilaLady1 .

I don't miss the yelling.  When Alyssa was out on maternity leave, some of the fill in hosts were more extreme, yet the conversations were mostly civil.

The view has been on the air for 29 years. Thel fact that some people on this site don''t watch it, hasn't hurt it's longevity. It started on 8/11/1997.

For the 1st quarter 2026, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (1.86 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.778 million) among the daytime network talk shows and news programs,  leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.42 rtg. and 2.166 million, respectively), “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” (0.87 rtg. and 1.495 million, respectively) and “NBC News Daily” (0.96 rtg. and 1.450 million, respectively).

• In addition, “The View” averaged 242,000 Women 25-54 and 182,000 Women 18-49, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.

I never watched The View until last year. I wish I'd seen it sooner.
