So what does everyone think about Sherrie and Jenny leaving the View? I liked them but Sherrie just talked too much about her son and in baby talk. I think Sherrie success has gone to her head. Jenny Iiked except the show where her dad was finding a date. Love Whoopie. I Would like the View a talk show with Whoopie and guest. Whoopie used to have a talk show on the radio years ago. We heard her when we was on the West coast on a trip.

Love Whoopi and hope whoever they get as replacements will do well and make the show more watchable. Don't particularly care for Sherri and Jenny. Sherri is always about herself and Jeffry and Jenny with her personal stuff - son and boyfriend. Jenny should have learned from Sherri that TMI about her love life might backfire on her. Sherri was always Sal this, Sal that, her wedding plans and her wonderful life - well look where that went awful fast. Relationships change and it's probably better to keep most details private.

I liked Joy and even Elizabeth with her too conservative views. Sherri was a little more tolerable back then also. Sure hope no one's dumb enough to bring Rosie back. She was fun at times but so set in her views that there was no bend or acceptance of anyone else's and became hostile.

I think the best option for The View would be an all female news anchor cast and avoid entertainers as hosts. Put together a cast of female news anchors with diverse views and backgrounds like Megyn Kelly, Mika Brzezinski, Katie Couric, etc. who were all capable of reasonable discourse and discussion, who all had experience in front of the camera interviewing people, and you could end up with a pretty good show.

There are a lot of competent, intelligent women of diverse views who are capable of having rational discussions on whatever hot button topics are up for discussion. Some have young children, some are older, there are some of every racial and ethnic background. I just think that would be a better direction to go in.

Women don't want 4 news anchors on a morning show. They want information on a variety of issues that relate to them, a little celeb gossip, fashion and celebs. Basically, they want the View just the way it is.

I started watching The Talk and really enjoy these ladies. The View needs to be more like them and have some better guest. Also I don't understand why they bring on a guest and don't spend much time with them. Beforeyou know they are saying goodbye enjoyed you on the show. Also the announcer says so and so will be guest then they are not..

So many talk shows, the moderators come and they go and I really don't care what they do with it...

I guess the talk shows are cheaper to produce... but seriously, how many of them do we need? I too would rather see them bring back a good daytime drama, though most had become so poorly written, trying to compete with each other and coming up with ludicrous story lines they though would entice viewers... As the World Turns, though, was really well done for many years.
