It just proves what everyone knew all along...we do not own them. They own US. They're smart enough to know that they need us for our human skills, such as buying their food, opening up the cans and/or bags, and keepinig their toilette clean, and they give us just enough companionship and love to keep the entire gig going. Other than that, we are of no use to them. Wink

TG, your post made me think of this quote I heard from Jerry Seinfeld years ago. It's about dogs, but could easily apply to cats, too!

“Dogs are the leaders of the planet. If you see two life forms, one of them's making a poop, the other one's carrying it for him, who would you assume is in charge.”

haha.....that bolded line is oh so true! Does anyone else's cat sit juuuuust out of reach so you have to actually move to pat them? I think mine does that to remind me who's really in charge here....
