Deb, did you see Al's interview with the Gold medal winning snow boarders, Sage Kotsenburg and Jamie Anderson? They are so cute and look so happy. When he was trying to get explanations on some of the snow boarder lingo and he came up with words they didn't know... he asked them what crunchy meant, they laughed and said "you mean crispy".. Al was like... meh, crispy/crunchy. LOL! Sage is so laid back and adorable. Everyone seems to be having a great time over there. I know it's early on in the games, but glad it's going so well thus far.
Yes, I saw the interview and it was hilarious with the whole crunchy vs. crispy thing. What about "shredding a dookie" or whatever Matt said that was supposed to mean falling off the chair lift and they had never heard of it? Someone must've been putting on whomever did the preshow interview for that segment! LOLI LOVE Sage! He was so cute dancing with the Russian woman and putting his arm around her.
I think you are right, there was some prank playing going on with those questions. Sage is a doll, they are having so much fun.
The OP just could have just identified her as the woman who sat with Lauer on the bench. She didn't but I don't think she meant anything derogatory.
Well she could have, but the point of the skit was that the woman was large. Seems far too much scrutiny has gone into this issue. Why am I never surprised...
So why continue it ?
Not every post has to be responded to nor does every poster have to be told they're being too sensitive.
Why is it that thin women don't seem to get offended when another woman is described as thin... but large women are offended when another large woman is described that way? What another person looks like isn't any reflection on me, so I wouldn't take offense. I don't get it.
It's not "ALL" women. I'm a larger sized woman and I don't get offended being called chubby.

AnyWHO, I'm enjoying the Sochi games and the TODAY show more than I thought I would. LOVED the Russian Police Choir.
Me too, they gave Daft Punk something to worry about, lol. Did you see that Al and Matt are going to be doing the Double Luge as their Olympic event? They tried it in 2006 at the Torino Olympics.... Matt and Al, once again in spandex unitards.

You didn't and I didn't say that you did. And I'm not telling you what you can say.
Some people are highly sensitive and many people here tell those whose feelings get hurt that they are being too sensitive and how to feel. That's all.
