@Estellee  Ooh thank you, Estelee Heart! I'd love to make you my popcorn for us to watch The Bachelor and The Bachelorette shows! I make it all from scratch: kettle corn, caramel popcorn, movie theater style butter popcorn and party mix popcorn! Smiley Happy  The great thing about popcorn is its a cheap snack to make, I love the crunch of it, and its high in fiber so it keeps me full until dinner time Smiley Happy

@cheriere  Oh thank you, Cheriere! You are very clever and creative! Heart  I think half of my snacks that I come up with are because I'm bored and want something to eat while I watch reality tv shows Smiley Very Happy.  Another snack that I came up with is Ritz crackers with slices of bologna and cheddar cheese. If I'm feeling really fancy, I make Ambrosia! I mix vanilla greek yoghurt, mini marshamllows, chopped maraschino cherries, canned pineapple, chopped walnuts, shredded coconut, cut up orange segments and maybe some cut up green apple- so good!

Both of those are things I LOVE ❤️

I especially like the pickled bologna, even the red hot variety with cheddar and crackers. Wish I had some right now!

So would I!😃 Knowing me, I'd NEVER be able to put it down lol.🌸

@cheriere  Thank you, Cheriere! Its hard for me to even put my own popcorn down! Smiley Very Happy  My trick is I put the popcorn in my biggest circular Lock and Lock and then I portion out a serving for myself in my smallest Lock and Lock--- and then when I finish, I sneak a little from the big Lock and Lock Smiley Very Happy

@cheriere  Oh yes, I love bologna and crackers and a bowl of Ambrosia! There's a sale on bologna at the grocery store and I'm going to get some and put it on Premium saltine crackers with some cheddar cheese.  Spicy and pickled bolgna is delicious! Also, that's so great that your Mommy is from Ohio- my Mommy is from Ohio! Heart

Ah, I love your mom is from Ohio too!😃. I never knew we shared this in common.💝🌸

Ya know, I think lock n lock is probably one of the only things I've never purchased from the Q.  Everyone seems to love it too.  Now that you're mentioning it, I might have to give some a try next time they have a TSV.😃

@cheriere  Oh yes indeed! Ohio Moms are so great Heart.  I've never been to Ohio, but someday I'd like to pack up my sea turtle print Vera Bradley duffle bag and travel there Smiley Very Happy.  Lock and Locks are fantastic! I have the Valentine's Day 3 piece set with the cupcakes and cookies printed on the sides  The Lock and Locks are so air-tight that my popcorn stays fresh and crunchy in it for over a week!

Anytime you get ready to head this way, let me know!  Ohio has some of the BEST theme parks, if it's roller coasters you love.  Cedar Point and Kings Island are a blast!❤️

@cheriere that is so neat!  I was born and raised in southwest Ohio and never heard of the Rolling Store but sure do wish we had one back then!  We lived out in the country and it was a big deal going into town to shop!  Lol

Dont you wish life was still that simple?

Thank you for sharing!💖

I lived in a medium size town and as a child I remember the Milk Man.  Mom bought milk, chocolate milk, orange drink and banana split ice cream.  To this day I have not found an ice cream as good as that banana split ice cream.  My first job was with an attorney and we had a client K  C Diary (won't complete the name) who was the company that operated the milk truck.  Ironic

Also had the bread man and Mom bought such good things from him.  Then there was the Atlantic & Pacific tea company that sold from a van many items - not tea.

We had stores uptown a few blocks from home where Mom could have bought milk, bread, the green grocers, the meat store and other stores (before supermarkets the stores were individual.)

Since Mom didnt drive, it was convenient to get these things from the traveling trucks.
