doesn't matter to me. I don't watch qvc 24 hours a day.

New vendors, yes please. However, the Q really needs to promote and present the many variety of vendors they already have online.
Bandolino shoes are available on QVC online. They are beautiful, stylish shoes. Oh wait, I may have answered my own question. QVC gets stuck in a rut and thinks one or a couple of vendors and styles are the only ones that will sell. It's not about watching QVC 24/7, I certainly don't. It's about having good promotions of TSVs and special pricing on more than a select few vendors, even the ones that are online.
The hosts do a crazy sales pitch thinking they are selling you on a different style of shoe to make it seem like they offer so many different varieties, why do you need another vendor? For example, this shoe was presented last night:
I don't think there's anything wrong with this shoe at all, if that's what you like. However, it was described as "sleek and elegant" and available in "gorgeous colors." Those quotes are the exact words used. The three lonely colors are black, almost black, and brown.
So I guess QVC doesn't think we'd like new vendors because one or two vendors can provide every style and all you'll ever need across the spectrum, if you believe it.
I like QVC very much, but my serious shopping is more frequently elsewhere.

Maybe they will up the inventory with the next round of holidays approaching.
I cannot think of anything but then again I don't watch very much and purchase even less because of the shipping.

Interesting to ponder, for sure. As @Caaareful Shopper said QVC has a myriad of brands and items that never get a speck of air time, so we see the tip of the merchandise iceberg on the shows. I've a feeling that they lean, overall, more and more to the brands they've purchased and manufacture, or to those companies in which they seem to have a financial interest.
I realize they can do more than one thing at at time, but frankly it seems to me their focus needs to be on consistent and meaningful quality assurance, more competitive pricing, better customer service, and a hard look at their shipping problems. I'm not convinced they're up-to-par in those areas now, although I realize the reviews are mixed.

The kitchen shows aren't for people who really cook any more. They are aimed at people who DON'T cook. And people who can't get enough David in their lives.
It's mostly appliances that people who don't cook won't have (if they cook they will already have one and usually a well-known brand name one); food that people who cook won't buy; house brand dishes that people who aren't really cooks and shoppers for dishes will enjoy seeing; and "gadgets" that people who cook will use a good knife to quickly prep.

I will add that before David took over, the shows were far more geared toward cooking and cooks. Which people who don't cook found boring I guess. Apparently there are more who DON'T cook! LOL!!

I also think it would be nice for them to have a designer who presents a hour here and there of "Special Occasion Wear" (dresses, pants outfits, etc )
I think it would be nice to offer some mens' clothes (women buy most of them anyway).....dress shirts, golf shirts, pants, belts,etc...

I remember years ago, that Regis had a clothing line on the Q!! I remember many 'golf' type of shirts. I don't
think it lasted too long...

Oh I am a huge fan of all the ZUM products! Sea salt is my absolute favorite fragrance but I notice others can only smell the patchouli! Would love the Q to offer their products.
