Meditation for the day:
I improving our personal lives, we can have unseen help. We were not
made so that we could see God. It takes an act of faith, a venture of
belief to realize God's unseen power. Yet we have much evidence of
God's existence in the strength that many people have received from
their act of faith, their venture of belief. God's unseen help is
effective here and now. This has been proved in thousands of changed
lives.
Prayer for the day:
I pray that I may make the great venture of belief. I pray that my
vision may not be blocked by intellectual pride.
Hello my friends! I'm going to try something new here and ask you all to
bear with me. I'm thinking of having the thread being on-going like a lot
of other threads here are. Anyway, while picking the raspberries today I
got that thought. My blessings today - I got 3 pints of raspberries frozen
today! Nice day and it didn't rain so my husband got some staining done
outside. I am thinking of only having another inspiration here for now, and
I'll be posting more and more throughout the day and I won't have to start a
new thread every night. Trial basis.

our God the credit for all He does for you! Praying every day for all of

"Brighten" The Corner Where You Are
We cannot all be famous, or be listed in "Who's Who",
But every person, great or small, has important work to do,
For seldom do we realize the importance of small deeds
Or to what degree of greatness unnoticed kindness leads.
For it's not the big celebrity in a world of fame and praise,
But it's doing unpretentiously in an undistinguished way,
The work that God assigned to us, unimportant as it seems,
That makes our task outstanding and brings reality to dreams.
So do not sit and idly wish for wider, new dimensions
where you can put in practice your many good intentions.
But at the spot God placed you begin at once to do
Little things to brighten up the lives surrounding you.
If everybody brightened up the spot where they're standing
By being more considerate and a little less demanding,
This dark old world would very soon eclipse the evening star
If everybody brightened up the corner where they are!
