Re: The Place Where I Work Was Burglarized!

At least the OP wasn't there when it happened and was not hurt in any way.

@Sage04 That scene in the movie has me cracking up every single time I see it.  Anthony Anderson and a knuckle head side kick in Mike Epps.  LOL.

That wasn't Mike Epps, it was Lahmard Tate.  But it was funny when they were trying move that ATM machine around Chicago.

@qbetzforrealLorenz Tate's brother!  Now I remember.

I work at a university.  Crime is around, but it's mostly stealing stuff.  A couple of years ago, some employees volunteered for the commencements.  One time, they set aside a room for women to leave their bags, etc.  Someone broke in and stole everyone's money.  There must have been over 50 bags in that room.

We had a problem with this in my area last summer.

My street dead ends into a shopping center.  A number of months ago, an SUV drove through the AT&T store and stole the ATM inside.  It was the third time within a couple of weeks this had happened at various stores in my area.

My DH and I were just getting up for work and saw a car speeding up our street from the dead end and wondered what was going on.  A few hours later the police were at our door wondering if our ring doorbell had picked up anything. Apparently there was a car parked at the dead end of our street and that was the get away car.
