Happy Wednesday (almost Thursday)! I hope you are all well and sending extra thoughts your way, panda lady.

I posted in December about the sad accident that happened to my sister's miniature Yorkie--he got into some chocolate and passed away. It was so awful and has been heart-breaking for my sister and her husband. I wanted to share that she sent me a picture tonight of the male Yorkie puppy they got tonight! He is adorable! Then she sent me a text that the female is coming at the end of the month! I know that their new arrivals will help ease their loss, although they will forever love their little one who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

lucy... That's wonderful news about your sister and her husband. I truly believe that the precious Yorkie that they suddenly lost in December reached out from beyond The Bridge and sent those two puppies to them.

Thursday greetings to all Pet Lovers!

I have the Rainbow Bridge poem framed on my wall (given to me by a co-worker), and I cry each time I read it. For those pet parents who are bereaved, this is uplifting and comforting, and I will be giving this poem framed as a "thinking of you gift" since it lifted me from despair years ago.

Sheltie .... thanks for starting us out every week with cheer and enthusiasm.

Panda .... praying that you continue to have "good days" and peace of mind.

Happy Friday everyone. It's a dull gray day here with snow coming. But it's January in Chicago so what's the beef?

Panda hope everything is good with you. I hope 2015 is a wonderful healthy year for you.

Lucylover I must have missed your post about your sister's Yorkie. That's so awful. What a tragic thing to have happened. Your sister will have her hands full with those two new little loves. They don't replace the lost one but I know they'll wriggle their way into your family's heart. Two Yorkie pups, that sounds like so much fun. We've had a lot of different breeds of dogs but never a Yorkie. Keep us posted on their progress!

I hear a big snow storm is coming to the east coast I think the only person on this planet who is looking forward to this storm is Libby. This afternoon we are going out for some supplies. Even though we went shopping on Friday we need milk and some other things be careful out there folks and let us say a prayer for the animals that they have someplace safe and warm to go to. I am about over winter this year for some reason even though we did not get a lot of snow it nice to be able to get around and this storm is going to be rough going. Take care....Kiss the fur kids for us.
