This surprises me. Tv fame, not good for relationships.

I wonder if the fame made this happen? They seemed so great together and I would watch them and they seemed to really be happy..............I wonder who left who? Sad.

In the 60s or 70s, Sonny & Cher had a very successful TV show ..... they split and kept it quiet and continued to do the show for another year.
From one article...

Bubbly, barbecuing duo Pat and Gina Neely are going their separate ways after 20 years of marriage, according to a joint statement the couple released to Memphis, Tennessee, news channel WMC News 5 on Friday.
"Today we announce that we are ending our marriage of 20 years for irreconcilable differences," they said. "This was a tough decision, but we believe it is the best decision for us."
"Together we have built a strong brand as The Neelys," say the couple, who are best known for working as a team on their show, Down Home with the Neelys, which launched on the Food Network in 2008.
They also have a restaurant in New York City, and until last summer had a spot in downtown Memphis as well.
"Moving forward our focus will be on our individual brands and we are optimistic about our respective futures," they also said in the statement.
The two pursued individual projects in the past year: Gina lost 20 lbs. doing a weight-loss challenge with the George Foreman Grill brand, while Pat, 50, has recently appeared solo working with My Family Dollar to fight hunger.
The two dated in high school and are parents to two daughters: Shelbi and Spenser, Gina's daughter from a previous marriage.

Well, I wouldn't go that far, but they seem too lovey-dovey to me.

Needed an antiemetic to watch that show.

Exactly, and nauseatingly lovey dovey.
When I see this, or when couples make a big deal (publicly) and renew their marriage vows yearly, my "divorce radar" goes off.
