The Hunger Games (book)

Has anyone read it? My DD told me that she couldn't put it down. I went to B&N's website and read the reviews and everyone loves it, but it's supposed to be for 12-17 year olds???

B&N has the first full chapter available to read on-line and after reading it, I must admit that I think I could read this book.

I just don't want to waste my time if the book is juvenile. I tend to think that it wouldn't be, as they have made it into a movie that comes out next month.
