There is no chance I’ll ever try that. I only eat real food. No wonder the world is full of sick people.

Read the article by the manufacturing company (link below). It is not. This was developed specifically for the Impossible Burger.
Right.
Heme from soy plants.
And soy is fed to animals so indirectly non-vegans are eating soy.

I don't see anything wrong with such choices.

I'm all for meatless alternatives, but a soy and oil burger is just not something I care to eat.

”A STRINGENT RAT FEEDING STUDY”
“GENETICALLY MODIFIED YEAST”
That’s what the makers are proud of. I’m so grossed out now. Genetically modified yeast! I don’t want to eat plants that bleed. Bad enough the alternative is dead cow. I’m going to be a breathatarian (breatharian).

No thanks.
Genetically engineered says it all.

I would rather eat a real burger once a year than a genetically engineered frankenfood burger any day.
After severe food poisoning from a salad eaten at Burger King, I wouldn’t eat anything from the place...ugh.

@sidsmom Yes, the heme molecule is extracted from soy and genetically modified. Yes, most of our food now is genetically modified, except for some organic and we can’t even be sure of that right now. I don’t ever remember my voting yes to these creepy scientist genetically modifying my food. They over-stepped their bounds years ago and now we’re just starting to pay for it.

I wonder if it's extruded, or even extrusable. Yum. Extrusile fermented plant heme.
