I remember Jacqueline Kennedy once was quoted saying somthing like, no matter what one has accomplished in life, if you have failed as a parent, you have failed.

Some people, couples, should choose not to have children.

Whether well known or not, he and Nancy were abducted one night and Mr. Reagan didn't like it and it made him very angry that we were going to have to deal with these inter-galactic low-life. He knew along with other heads of state that We Are Not Alone. Nancy stood by him and during their marriage to one another, no scandals of extra-marital affairs, etc.

Very poignant funeral.

What a great love story. It's unfortunate that her legacy is one of complete devotion, admiration and obsession of her husband but not of her children.

I know of a few couples who had that type of relationship and the children sufferered as a result of it. My best male friend said his parents were so addicted to each other that when his father was away on a business trip, that his mother would lay in bed in a deep depression until he returned. He was pretty much ignored as a child. He never married or had children. Similar to Nancy's two children.
