Summer and winter are too long, spring and especially fall are too short... I'll take a long, crisp fall even if it means shorter days, as long as it means cooler and less humid weather...

We had dinner by the bay tonight and it was cool enough to sit outside. What a pleasant way to have dinner after a very long, hot & humid summer.

I don't like shorter days, but I can definitely see it happening....cold weather will be here before we know it! I love spring - new growth coming up! Hopefully we won't have a lot of ice this winter!

We always have hot streaks in sept and oct.  last thanksgiving it was 94,,,  that was a first.  Usually, here in Silicon Valley mid sept has hor streak in 100's.  Then again in october.  Then all of a sudden by October the nights are cold.  Pleasant days, cool nights

Here in the Bay Area I noticed the days getting shorter a couple weeks ago.  Now its dark by 8:00pm by end of Sept it'll be dark by 7:00.  We'll have a couple hot spells before end of October.  Sept and Oct are the warmest months here.  My favorite season is Fall because of the shorter days, cooler nights, but most of all I love all the colors of Fall.  Thats my favorite - the trees changing to yellow, reds, gold.  Such glorious color.  Then probably winter, spring, summer.

This summer been awful in New York!!!... We didn't really have a spring & I remember one day in May, it was so cold that I had to turn on the heat for awhile... Way too short summers here..

You would like it where I am from. I have lived in the south all my 68 years. and I hate hot weather! Moved this year from the coastal region to north GA. i hope for a little bit of fall this year my favorite season. The days are getting shorter here but the still 90+temp. Even the mountain areas are still very warm.

I love spring because everything is coming back to life, it's a time of rebirth. Summer is my 2nd favorite season because of sun, pool, beach, & being able to do things outdoors. I can do without the 90+ days with high humidity though, it's difficult for me to breathe on those type of days. (asthma) I'd have no problem skipping late fall, & winter, especially winter, since those are miserable in the Chicago area.
