Anyone ever use it? It's got pretty good reviews.

My PT has one but I have a shoulder issue that precludes me using it.

It bothered my wrists after awhile and I started to get carpal tunnel syndrome from using it.

lotus.....I have it and it really gives you a good workout. Once you get used to pushing it back and forth, it becomes easier. It definitely strengthens the arms, shoulders and stomach muscles.

I had this.

It went into the ""exercise equipment graveyard"" with all of ther other workout stuff I bought.

I hear it's excellent for those who take the time to use it. I've also heard that it's harder than it looks and to start out slowly and gradually increase your workouts.

I have a little arthritis in my wrist and thumbs...no strength left in my hands either..so I guess I will pass.

I'm looking for something to help with a non impact workout....bursitis in my hips, arthritis in my hands, prior surgery on both knees and lower back pain.

I'm guessing swimming is the only thing for me. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

Swimming or gentle yoga would be good. The body blade would be a bad choice with arthritis in your hands.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

Have you tried a recumbent stationary bike, Lotus? Not sure if that would be a problem with your hips or not but it's okay for my bum knees.

Below this line is the same reply I left on the Health and Fitness Forum:

I've had the BIG Body Blade and the 2 smaller ones for several years now. For me they would never replace using weights/my Bowflex or Total Gym for adding strength to my upper body and arms.

However they are great for maintaining good muscle tone and probably would add muscle and tone muscles for someone that has been inactive for a long time. For this I think one would have to really get it to flex to add more resistance to the exercises.

Set attainable and reasonable goals that are within the suggested outcomes from the one that originally introduced this product and I think one would/could be happy with the outcome.

Worth the money? They were/are for me.
