God forbid siblings should help out and mentor the younger ones, instead of sitting on their buttz, playing Xbox, and hollering to be waited on!
They actually have CHORES! *gasp* Oh, the horror......

I'm not talking about chores, I'm referring to child rearing. It's a form of abuse imho.

As long as I am not paying for any of their 19 children, I have no problem with it.
I resent BIG TIME all the people bringing children into this world with no means and no intention of SUPPORTING them. That is what BOTHERS ME.
The girls are all intelligent and seem learned. I am not terribly in support of having to raise your siblings. That comes when you have your own children.
Everything else seems to be fine with the world. Why is a married couple having a lot of children that they support be such an issue with some?
At some point, they will all CHOOSE the lifestyle they want. 19 children is not for me, but as long as I don't have to PAY FOR THEM, it's fine.

I am just curious as how people know that the older kids are made against their will to raise the younger ones? Maybe that was in one of the shows?

They don't rear their brothers and sisters.

No they're not in charge of them; they don't raise them.

None of the nasty things people say about the Duggars have any merit. They don't even know enough about them to criticize them.
Hopefully, the Bates program will take off and the Duggars will get a break from the board harpies......
