@BornToShop Where in the Sandhills? They are so beautiful. Have never understood why people think Nebraska is flat. I was born in Omaha, but my parents actually lived in Kearney until I entered third grade in Lincoln.
Been in Lincoln with the exception of several years when my husband was transferred to IA, IL, PA and OH over several years. Due to my health, we decided to stop the constant moves and return to Lincoln to be near family and close friends, excellent schools and health care, a safe city, and where we could see the stars at night. (You have no idea how we missed that in IL, PA and OH with all the smog blocking the stars!!)
I'm just happy our football is able to play, again! It keeps those guys on their scholarships and actively engaged in athletics. It also brings in a lot of money for the University and Nebraska.
Wow, Ohio really stompted us yesterday. It's obvious we haven't played other teams in many months. That hurt.
