I've heard a lot of opinions lately about some retailers being open on Thanksgiving--the most vocal ones seem to think it's evil to make people work on a holiday.
It got me wondering...Do you feel the same way about people who work in restaurants on Thanksgiving? Many places are open and serve a special Thanksgiving menu. What about hotels? Movie theaters? Convenience stores? In my mind, these are not in the same category as other occupations that have people running the show 365 days a year like hospitals, police, and other essential services, yet I am still grateful that they don't close down for the holidays.
Just curious as to what the prevailing opinions are.
