That's only one view of it.  There's nothing wrong with speaking up.

Encouraging illegal activity is much more preferable I guess.

There are issues worth speaking up but an unpleasant,  rude, or nasty post isn't one of them, doesn't even make the list.

Well I wish that some would not take it upon themselves to feel insulted for the whole thread when someone disagrees with several posts. That same person will then go about ripping you a new one in defense of everyone who sides with her and then run to the moderator when you dare to defend your point and her snarky remarks. I hate that.

It was and always is the mod's call not the person(s) reporting.

I don't get the whinning about it.  You (in general terms ) give your opinion and it is posted and read.

I was going to make a separate thread to say I just saw your note to me on yesterday's thread that is now closed.  I had to be AFK (away from keyboard - learned that from the episode of The Big Bang Theory when Penny becomes game-addicted).  Anyway, I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you.

Hope you're doing well.

@GingerPeach

GASP!  You have a life outside of this forum??! Haha.  Sooo kidding, friend!

I, too, lovelovelove BBT!   Good that we can get our fix almost every night on TBS.  😀

Doesn't make YOUR list.  Clearly, others don't agree that rude or nasty posts are acceptable.  Ignoring is too often analogous to condoning.

The eyes through which you see others may be the same as how they see you.
