Thank You Notes

Whenever I received any sort of gift, it was just the right thing to do to write a note acknowledging the kindness, time and effort that was put forth.

Now, it just seems like so many do not even bother. I have given wedding gifts and never received a "thank you." I am sure that many of you have experienced the same thing.

If another event comes along wherein a gift is usually given, does the lack of a thank you note ever stop you from giving another??
