It is hard to express in typed words how much your thoughts and prayers, along with stories of your own personal losses of loved ones, mean to me. My sincerest Thank You to everyone that visits this Bulletin Board.

So many responses overwhelm me, even though I know from my years on these Forums, the genuine expressions of kindness and caring for one another. It cannot be said about any other forum I personally have ever visited.

My youngest sister, older than myself, died in 1989 of cancer at the young age of 52. My sister that died just a few days ago, also died of cancer. She turned 91 last February 26th.

I have one remaining older sister that lives only 3 miles from me. We are sharing our sorrow and happy memories of our now departed sister. She will remain with us in spirit until it is our time to once again all be together.

A most sincere thank you from myself, my sister, and my much loved wife.

@hckynut   Dearest John, I'm sad about your oldest sister, but I'm glad to hear your one remaining sister lives close to you.  I sincerely hope the two of you will treasure the years you have together and hold each other closely.

I also have only one remaining family member, a sister who is 10 years younger.  Thank goodness we love each other and get along very well.  I guess we've always been the two closest family members.  Like your sister, she only lives about 5 miles away, in the same house we both grew up in together!

@hckynut

John,

Thank you for this note.  I know you have many other things on your mind, and your taking the time to let us hear from you is so kind.

Good to know you have a sister who lives near you, I hope the two of you are close, and able to share good memories.

Sending wishes for Peace and Health to you Cindy, your Sister, and the fur babies.

@hckynut  John, you are a "good egg" and a good friend.  We do feel your pain, and send our best wishes to our friend.  Sometimes we all share more, or maybe more honestly, than I'll bet we do in real life, and that makes us, over the years, really understand where some of us are coming from doesn't it?

Blessings and best wishes always!

            Hi, @hckynut.   I haven't been on the forums for a wee bit of time, and I just now saw your threads about your beloved sister.    From my heart to yours, John, I am so sorry.   You can see by all the posts on your two threads that you have genuine friends here...  you have touched our lives over the years and we feel and share in the loss, sadness, and grief.    Please remember to take very good care of yourself.   Sending gentle (((cyberhugs))) across the miles.
