Re: Text messaging/suicide case updated...

She may need to be charged with institutionalized time for medication and therapy. She has intent to hurt others and possibly herself. No empathy and showed pre meditation.

Excruciatingly sad. What kind of punishment can redeem her life or restore his?

Reading those texts, she definitely has issues. And to text the family asking where he was, when they couldn't find him, is sick.

Bullying.....weird how people don't know the definition of bullying anymore.  What she did is so much worse.   It was an act that was so evil and so hateful that it boggles the mind.  She used words to commit murder.  She deserves to be punished and I do believe she is a psychopath.  I just don't think there are any laws that cover the situation.

Re: Text messaging/suicide case updated...

Although evil and disgusting, what she did doesn't fit the definition of bullying to me.

Bullying is when you harrass someone who can't get away from you, who is unable to escape - i.e., someone being harrassed at their workplace or at school.

All he had to do was block her texts and stop talking to her, if I understand the situation correctly.

However, anyone who would do such an evil, reprehensible thing definitely needs to be attended to in some manner. IMHO, I doubt this case meets any criteria for manslaughter but she definitely needs to go TO JAIL, go directly to jail!

I probably wouldn't be responsible for my actions if I was that boy's mother........
