Your daughter is right on the money! Those huge roaches are beyond disgusting. We have lived here 20 years and have never seen an ant except in the yard (fire ants). I don't even mind snakes or spiders as long as they stay outside. Roaches don't belong inside or outside.

Yes, Terro works if you do NOT have a full colony of ants you just want to get rid of! That was my situation. I had ants everywhere - way too many of them so I called the exterminator I've used in the past. He found the colony under my stove and he also found where they were coming in, so he sprayed all those areas too.

Bottom line is that the ants were taken care of quickly by him. When I've had a few ants/bugs here and there I've used my Terro traps and they worked fine....but not for what I experienced the last time.
