Terrier3 I have a question for you.

Have you been following the Molly's Pub tragedy? I had a friend who sent me a clip from WIVB about the story because we worked with one of the cops in this case in the early 90's. I was a bartender at a Allentown bar and we both worked with him back then. I just opened the link and read it last night. My daughter has been in and out of the hospital so I haven't had a chance to really go through my emails and I was shocked when I read this. He was a real jerk back then too and we all used to hate sharing shifts with him because we used to split tips and he was such a jerk, he used to really affect how much we would make. He finally got fired, but I can remember he always wanted to be a cop. Strange reading about this now.

Re: Terrier3 I have a question for you.

If you are talking about the cop who helped remove the videotape, you're right, he is a major jerk.

He got in similar trouble at Toro and Faherty's on Elmwood - they fired him from there.

He ended up at Molly's Pub. BTW - the "manager" of that place is real scum. The victim is in a coma and they don't think he will ever recover.

I actually worked with Adam. One of my good friends ex husband is a cop and worked with the other one though and he is a real piece of work. I do know the "manager" and he is a drugged up little legend in his own mind.

This is just such a sad and completely preventable tragedy.

My friends keep me update through FB with all the happenings and it seems like the Buffalo Police have been in the news a lot lately.

You know the perp who pushed the poor guy down the stairs?

He is creepy- just to look at! His bail was reduced to next to nothing...he must still have "friends" in LE and the courts - or maybe he has the goods on some powerful people?

No, I know Adam O'Shei. The other cop.

Oh, thank you Hoovermom. She is doing well. She had gallbladder problems during her pregnancy and she and her doctor decided to wait until 6 to 8 weeks after the birth (if possible) so her uterus could go down. Well, she had an attack about 4 days after the birth of my grandson and they decided to do the surgery the old fashioned way instead of lapriscopically )sp?). A couple of days after that she developed a MRSA infection that was quite serious and she had to be hospitalized for a week with IV antibiotics. Things are getting back to normal now and she is doing much better. Thanks so much!
