Do any of you oldtimer QVCers remember a host named Ellen? She was a very attractive brunette with a very distinctive voice who started out as a host but then moved into the "off camera" roles. She would also be the voice who would tell us that "all the lines are busy at this time....." and would encourage automated ordering. She might still be doing it, I don't know.

Well, several times in the past month or so, I've picked up my telephone to hear a woman's voice that sounds exactly like Ellen's! It's a telemarketing call and starts off with the words, "Everyday the FBI reports.........." and that's as far as I listen before hanging up (hate telemarketing calls).

I just wondered if anyone else has had that telemarketing call and do you agree it's Ellen? She has such a distinctive sounding voice, it just has to be her......
