People used to tell me to use that when my kids were babies. I was scared to. I guess now ,it would have been a safer choice

My grandfather used it on us all the time.  As long as you are not throwing a shot down your baby's throat and just dabbing a bit on the gums, the old fashioned methods work!

 

And the kid sleeps better too I hear!  Smiley Wink

35 years ago, I knew not to use Orajel. Used clove oil I bought at the health food store for my first.  Second never had a problem teething.

My mother, and grandmother, used to broil a lamb chop ,and cut all of the meat off, and let my older sisters chew on the bone, when they were teething. By the time my brother ,and I, rolled around ,she was too frazzled to do that.I guess we chewed on whatever we had

 

It's like toys, with the first one ,they get educational toys ,and after that kids play with cardboard boxes, and are happy as a clam
