Technology Hits The Cemetery

This is fascinating.  I wonder if this will turn up in the US?

May be an image of text that says 'SF SCIENTIFY In Japan, it's common to find QR codes on Cemetery Headstone. You can Scan the code and then watch the video of person's life.'

Just visually, it’s very disturbing. To me a grave is sacred and this giant QR code takes away from that.

@Malcontent  It's just another form of communication.  I don't think it's aesthetically pleasing but it fits as a Memorial.  Maybe it's more traditional on the reverse side.

No Thanks rubber stamp. Grunge design with dust scratches. Effects can be easily removed for a clean, crisp look. Color is easily changed.

If this is true Im not surprised technology is everywhere and in/on everything, which I find sad.

I find this not in anyway appealing.

That is so wrong and distasteful in my book.  No thank you.

I've seen mausoleums that have a TV screen where you can pull up the deceased to listen and see all about them. I love it is passing on history. As someone who loves to walk respectfully through cemeteries, I would find it fascinating to learn.

Re: Technology Hits The Cemetery

And what happens when technology supplants QR codes and nobody can read this?
