@JasoninBoston and @Marienkaefer2
QVC has graciously provided a forum us to be able to express our opinions. No where is it stated that we are not allowed to open threads we disagree with or not being allowed to post an opinion.
It's my opinion that the Lisa lovers should stick to her facebook page and adore and worship her there, your opinions are different. Oh well,

Reminds me of Ye Olde Saying--- that opinions are like *glass bowls* and everyone has one.

I wish people would be kinder on these boards. I often think would people who post mean and hurtful things post such things about a family member!! I hope not 😂
Mean and hurtful is most often in the eye of the beholder. It's standard for people to complain about "meanness" towards a favorite of theirs, and then turn around and utterly *shred* a host, vendor or other posters in other threads when *they* feel like it. So - not impressed at all at accusations of "mean and hurtful."

And how do we know that apps weren't used here to make Lisa look worse than she does? There are apps for everything.
I also saw silentgirl's pics before they were gone and they were very accurate of what LR looks like direct from her chat Sunday night. The outside lighting and the close ups were not friendly to LR. I couldn't believe it myself. Obviously Lisa cannot blur out her complexion in a video but you definitely saw the prominent lines on her face and large pores. Even the skin on her arms had marks on them and was not smooth like we endlessly see in all her "flawless" FB selfies.
Needless to say it was quite an eye opener and confirmed yet again Lisa definitely does smooth out all of her pics to appear wrinkle free. She looks her age in natural daylight.
Regarding the "Italy chat" Sunday night, I thought it was so very bizarre. Sitting outside her home trying to replicate a villa with the flowers & candles etc and recreate QVC's version of Live From Vicenza. Even down to wearing her faux hair and offering advance orders for her jewelry items Lol. It was all so weird.
Lisa would love to be back at QVC but would never admit it. In fact she often makes subtle jabs at Q and claims she hasn't watched since she left. Sounds very bitter in my opinion.

You mean by having a difference of opinion? Laughing Out Loud!

No, not a hater of anyone actually. I am however, a realist. Working as a researcher and a writer, I’m expected to be truthful and honest in my work, as well as balanced and unbiased-unless of course, I’m writing an opinion based in belief or point of view. Coming from that standpoint, it seemed to me when posting, that it was fair, considering so many other photographs have been posted here. As mentioned prior, the posted photos were easily authenticated.
I’m relatively indifferent to the emotional element of some regarding the LR topics. Although, I do find the insinuation with respect to making the individual look “worse,” very unfortunate.
I’ve never actually voiced an opinion (other than description) about Lisa's appearance, nevertheless, I do not think those photos caused her to look at all deficient of beauty. I think Lisa is adequately attractive in her natural state and without manipulated photos. I also feel the snapshots were truthful and accurate depictions with respect to my previous post.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I was working, had a six a.m. deadline-I do find it a wee bit unnerving that an individual would have such an interest in a private citizen, that they would comment on the hour that a post is made in a forum, or where the poster may have been and why.
Conversely, LR is not a private citizen, but a “public figure” by choice and as such, unfortunately, is open to criticisms even if based on ones personal considerations and, even though they may not harmonize with another’s views. To that end, while personal opinions may be fodder for debate, attacking another, simply because they don’t agree, does nothing to advance a conversation-
Yes, the thread title does have in parenthesis, “if you’re interested”-and- I was interested in reading the thread.
I do commend the moderators for moderating and not locking the thread.

But there are those who insist that "interested" MUST, by (their) definition, mean "in love/like with" and no one else need apply.
As I have posted before, it's entirely possible (not to mention completely normal and happens all over the forums every day) that people express their opinions on a subject without "liking/loving/being in favor" of it. "Interest" does not equate to universal worship - it just doesn't, in this thread, or in any other thread about any subject. There is not/should not be one single special untouchable person/subject/item on the forums subject to special rules and considerations.

No hate at all but for those of us who don't like nor follow Lisa, we're wondering why her fans or so called tribe don't just stick to her facebook page?
Lisa is no longer employed by QVC and we're not interested in her over priced baubles.
If anyone wants to have tea with Lisa, fine, but do that and leave the rest of us alone with her goings on.
I have very strong feelings as to why these threads keep getting started here and someone else has already made the suggestion earlier.
That being said, I find that some posters on this thread have put forth a lot of time and effort on disliking Lisa. The posts that are multiple paragraphs long, the up close photos to back-up their point, the obviously constant visits to her FB page to find things out, it's all very odd to me.
You don't care about her goings on so I'm going to assume you aren't on her FB page on a regular basis. That makes sense.

I didn't know Lisa was doing a chat Sunday night. I got on FB and a message popped up that Lisa R was live so I clicked on it. Usually I cannot watch her chats, they freeze. I thought maybe she was going to be chatting with someone interesting which is why I tuned in.
I have to say that I too found that whole thing beyond odd. I watched for about 5 minutes with my mouth gaping open at the weirdness. It was like she was on her own little personal shopping channel.
She was dressed up like she would have been on QVC, she had popped in the hair extensions like she always did on Q but hasn't worn in photos since she left. She had the "tray" of jewelry on a table next to her and was selling, just like she did on QVC. "Next, we have these earrings for you." She had multiple cameras on her, some she was directing to do a close-up. It was quite possibly one of the oddes things I've seen. I continued on after a short amount of time.
I really did admire Lisa for leaving a lucrative job and moving on if she was unhappy. I do hope she continues to build her business and succeed. But I am somewhat shocked that she is riding the coattails of her former employer. If you want to move on, move on. This isn't moving on. It's like she doesn't know any other way than selling in front of a camera.

As someone pointed out on her FB during the Sunday chat, she at least got off of the couch and was more creative in presentation, even though she copied the idea from being in Italy. The commenter also said they thought the video from Italy of jewelery selection was very "slam-bam" (the commenter's words) devoid of real inspection and appreciation of the the jewelry and should not have been presented to viewers. Lisa deleted that post within minutes after completing her sales pitch.
