You honestly think she looks 35? Bless your heart. And, you do realize along with whatever "procedures" she's had done, she uses a filter for her pics on FB and anywhere else she posts. Personally, I like the idea of using a face filter! She's mentioned this before.

Maybe she got this idea from Dr. D - I have never seen a photo of Dr. D anywhere that wasn't 100% "softened." Her QVC pix certainly are.

Re: Tea With Lisa R (if interested)

[ Edited ]

I met LIsa quite a few years ago at a Beauty Bash.  She had on a very pretty blue dress, and she looked far thinner in person than she did on air--that is unusual as I've seen several other QVC "people" who looked the same (as far as build).

Lisa had a large bodyguard behind her as I was leaving when she was coming in.  I stopped and chatted with her for a minute.  She's very pretty in person, but her skin didn't look good.  It looked almost as if she had a chemical peel.  She looked around 40 at the time, and she probably was closer to 44.  I think it was about 5 or 6 years ago--whenever the last Beauty Bash was.

She acted very reserved and a bit shy.

I saw Shawn briefly and Albany.  They looked the same in person as they do on air.  I've also met Leah who looked the same.  Lisa R is the only one who seemed smaller.  She has a very large head, but it works on her.

I think she will have a lot of people show up at this "tea".  She still is popular in the QVC world even though she's been gone for almost 2 years.

I wanted to get to this the other day-got sidetracked!

I'm not a social media person so I asked one of the kids who works in IT,  to explain some things regarding the Facebook page of LR-

I couldn't reconcile the numbers on her page. Likes, comments, etc. as the numbers varied so widely during certain periods.  IE: a chat would bring thousands of comments and likes out of nowhere, while normally, the amount of comments was between 80 and 150 or so, with spikes of maybe 500 or a little more- So,  why the spikes suddenly of a thousand to thousands .And, if so many likes, why so few commenter's in relation to the likes?

He looked up Facebooks public figure ranking, as that is how she is listed, and couldn't find her. So, I helped and we still couldn't find her.

I asked why that would be,  when she had more likes than very well known actors and actresses--He said it’s possible that her likes are "bogus".

That the likes were "purchased" likes and perhaps even some of the commenter's are bogus, by purchased bots.  They act like real people but aren't-

He stated that Facebook is aware of page owners purchasing "likes" to boost their rankings, so Facebook actually keeps track of their actual visitors and likes, then places them honestly where they should be-

Any thoughts? If you can find a ranking by Facebook I would be curious.

We did find Leslie Blodgett's ranking at 1,210 with 38,000 likes-Someone here asked in a post where Leslie was, check this out-I was actually very moved- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL2a6-UZ4NQ -Titled: A Lesson In Forgiveness- Leslie and her sister--

If you just Google her name her FB page comes right up and anyone can view it.  I am not on FB and never have been but I have even watched some of LRs chats just by viewing from the outside.

When you watch her chats there is a counter and she always has least 800 viewers and then if she has a special guest like Kathy Levine I spiked at over 2000 viewers.  I don't think those are the same kind of paid hits as your describing.

Re: Tea With Lisa R (if interested)

Thankyou @JasoninBoston-

But no, that isn't what we were attempting to find-Facebook actually ranks their pages themselves according to their data.  He was speaking to the fact that it may be Facebooks actual data would not place her there because the actual likes are not accurate-In other words, were not likes from actual individuals-

So, for Facebooks actual rankings by Facebook she is not placing anywhere-

Dang!  You sure did spend a lot of time on this one.

Was the IT boy on the clock researching this for you, also?
