Not everyone measures success the way that you do.

But, she has not even watched the Q since she left...... She said!🙄@Fur Dude- like she wasn't watching her dear friend Dr D who was coincidently wearing her necklace??? Yeah right? The necklace was all twisted on the side and looked cheap on her very expensive looking attire, IMHO that is
Really? That's terrible. I don't know where she's getting that jewelry, but it's only a matter of time before it starts falling apart
IMO Dr. Denese looked beautiful. I will say the shade of gold looks a little weird but that's about it. I personally don't care for the necklace but there wasn't anything wrong with it on Dr. D.

@Lipstickdiva, the necklace looks okay on her. I don't like the color either. Maybe that's the way it photographs.
Dr. D looks good!

@BalletBabe, I must decline the invitation, I'll be at a football game in Knoxville but I'll take care of the name tags. Bet that carrot cake is delish, daw'ling!

How angry and distasteful-
By what figures does one draw the conclusion that QVC is stagnant without a certain host? Have you the actual facts to make that statement truth-I'd be curious to see them-With respect to the G.I.L.I. line, I’d venture to guess, as I’m not privy to the numbers but, common sense alone might tell us: if, QVC is in 90 million homes, as has been stated, and the G.I.L.I. line was ordering 1,000 units of an item, selling only half that figure, which was usually the case, would not support a successful line-as was often the case with units of 500 items, with the exception of the handbag carried in the line and we have no way of knowing how many of the items purchased were actual returns once purchased. 90 million homes? 500-1000 items sold…successful? Really? Perhaps we have differing ideas of success-
Going out on the limb further-understanding it is all conjecture on my part-I’d venture to guess, that Lisa did not plan to leave, it happened quickly, perhaps QVC did not feel it financially beneficial to meet whatever demands she may have had. Clearly QVC made a very expensive investment in this individual, the magazine ads, the television appearances, the G.I.L.I. line, the over the top productions, the gowns, the gatherings, the trips, the sets, etc., while they may have paid off somewhat in the beginning, they may not have paid off in the end-I do believe personally, that she believed they needed her-but if QVC’s numbers were floundering, I seriously doubt it has or had, anything to do with her leaving-More than likely, the economy, other changes at QVC and the fact that QVC wasn’t meeting the desires of millions of shoppers, (product, etc) accounted for most changes in numbers-
Mark Zunino? Lesley Blodgett? Chaz Dean? Yes, very successful…But does one actually believe these individuals can make an individual successful, or that there is a desire by them to do so? No doubt they wish her the best and if they felt a product could be successful, enter into a relationship, maybe. I think the environment is complicated and misunderstood by many who don’t have access or understanding about how it works. Are there really those who believe that outside of their own circle that, that somehow gives an individual a rite of passage into a certain faction of society? Especially the type of society that, that particular individual would have you believe she has ingratiated herself?
Because I can speak with a bit of authority regarding that subject and tell you that is a complete delusion. Especially as it relates to the Hampton experience that so many individuals believed was truth because her “branding image” insinuated it as such, as did her own descriptive words and ideas, which by the way, were usually completely incorrect-specifically with respect to the lifestyle and image of those living there.
Jealous? No, not even close. There are many individuals here, from the lifestyle and that particular fabric of society she has attempted to emulate. Just because one is an employee with a company who allows them access to others and their lifestyles while conducting business does not automatically mean one is encompassed in the lifestyle or accepted into the societal fold…no matter how hard they might attempt to project that image-
Anyone can have a photo taken, anyone can call another “friend” anyone can invite themselves to an event, anyone can board a plane, anyone with a line of credit can purchase a handbag or watch, and anyone is free to make assumptions-but that does not make it truth-
Something else with respect to the subject of this individual-I think it’s important to recognize that there are those here and elsewhere entitled to have their opinions, without the least little bit of jealousy-who are comfortable in their own skin and who don’t need the superficial strings that seem to be tied to the image some accuse others of being jealous-truthfully, in point of fact, those "jealousy" comments sound like something only a mean jealous girl would say-
Interestingly, I was brought up in an environment that taught us, those who had achieved and accomplished in life had no need to tell others how great they were, our accomplishments would reveal themselves without our need to tell others--it is in fact, looked down upon-whether the individual is doing it themselves, or sending others out into the world to do it for them-
Happy week-end-
The not so silent, silent girl!
