@JONNYSBRO, Hi..  are you affilated with LR?

Considering the substantial knowledge of LR's personal wealth and business deals, must be her investment counsellor or personal attorney!

Def not her English teacher.

@DukeBlueNan

I thought the very same thing. I don't understand the obsession with this. It's like they need to keep this conversation open, or poor LR will be forgotten.

First of all talk to me when u have reached LR level.in success and notority. Also yes the GILI line was created by Lisa it was inspired on clothes Lisa wore on the air. It was a QVC brand Lisa should have gotten a contract that gave her a share of the profits. Unfortu ately she didnt do that. Why wouldnt QVC have continued it was a very successful line? If LR wanted to work for any of her connsctions. Leslie Blodgett is worth 400 million and she is Lisa BFF. Lisa is an entrupener and that takes to develop.

Riiight

I have a bridge to sell you.

Lisa  is a a once was, used to be ex salesperson on QVC who is reduced to selling overpriced items on facebook.  Where are her friends now?  Leslie Blodgett sold her company and where is her supposed bff?  Changing clothes for her giggling fans on facebook.

Well, she could be just sitting around posting on a shopping network message board.

Yes, she certainly can and does on a daily basis selling her overpriced wares.

Now, as far as myself.. I've been out this morning..came on about noon and got many things accomplished in between posting on a shopping board network.

It's not like many of us stay planted in one place all day, posting pictures of ourselves wearing various outfits.

Who wants coffee?

Re: Tea With Lisa R (if interested)

Much like SG, D&C, Quacker Factory, etc., etc., GILI is and was a collabaration of many individuals who all take part in creating the brand.  It continues to be.  Lisa's job title was Television Program host which equates to Electronic Sales - nothing to be ashamed of as she did well performing the job.   It is the job she held however upsetting that may be for some.

QVC is by no means suffering in profits due to LR's departure.  I doubt even LR herself would think to assume such an influence.  There are many other excellent hosts still selling here and performing quite well.  Just catch the ITKWD shows and observe his sales numbers.   They are always impressive and bring in some serious dollars.

QVC, like all similar channels, depends on a huge network of employees, from Hosts to all those behind the scenes from the design teams to the production teams to the CS dept all contribute to the success of this company.  When sales drop periodically, it has everything to do with the economy and consumer spending habits, not the performance of one sole Program Host.

And prior to LR joining QVC, Kathy Levine was a real powerhouse who sold millions on a regular basis.  I actually remember thinking at the time that she was going to be very tough to replace but they survived that as well.  Nature of the biz.

I do wish LR well and am a bit surprised that she has not found a real niche for herself after all this time.  I know she made good money as most of the hosts do but I doubt it was enough to support herself for the rest of her life.  I just assumed she would have found something more stable and profitable as it's been close to 3 years now, hasn't it?

Maybe she banked a little too heavily on her followers being able to support her in the manner she is certainly accustomed to.  I do hope she finds something to sink herself into.

I totally agree. I wish her well, but I do believe that she had/has that "follower's syndrome", thinking she could go on being as popular as she seemed to be on QVC.
