Ok, I like jewelry just as much as the next person. BUT, with all the problems going on i:e gas prices, food prices, rising utility bills. Why would QVC put extremely expensive jewelry on Today's Special Value. The prices for these beautiful jewels are through the roof !

Some people have disposable income and some have a lot of it. Not everyone is concerned about the cost of essentials. Lucky them.

Did the caller that just called into qvc get cut off?   Seems she was talking, then it cut to a qvc commercial.

Everyone has a different financial situation. I don't buy expensive jewelry but I fly first class. When someone buys exspensive jewelry many are getting paid from that purchase. Helps those employees pay their essentials in life. It's a good thing!

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Many electronic retailers sell AAAA tanzanite. Better prices along with certificates of authenticity and appraised value at time of purchase.

I just bought a new car yesterday. I have no more disposable income. 😄

Agree with @MoonieBaby . I watch tanzanite being sold at another channel and they usually are sold with certificates of value and authenticity.
as far as cost people spend on jewelry I watch what I would call high end jewelry channels and they seem to be doing ok.

@Momofdogs

Good quality Tanzanite has always been one of the most expensive gems.

It's a gorgeous stone.

Nothing wrong with offering it. Not up to me to dictate how others spend their money.

Considering the 'problems going on' you list...None of us should buy anything then considering QVC doesn't sell life sustaining items.
