You can tell her love for Glen never ended. So sad she was too young and their courtship was so tumultuous.

I guess one could be cynical about it, but I have seen many interviews of how she still loved Glen. She contacted the family several years ago wishing to see Glen one last time before his memory was totally gone. Apparently the answer was no...she said she just wanted to say goodbye...and what was she going to do steal him?

Tanya Tucker was so young when she was in the relationship with Glen Campbell. It's very possible that due to her immaturity she really didn't understand real love, along with all the other plagues of two people who have busy, successful careers, and are used to being the alpha celebrated force in the room. Perhaps the years of going through other relationships and the overall process of maturing have helped her to better understand how she truly felt about Campbell.

@croemer....well, well, well....'bout time you showed your booty up around here, LOL. Hey sweetie.

Very beautiful tribute. You know, this is the way I think about this situation....Tanya and Glen were a part of each other's lives for awhile and I really think it was so unkind and unnecessary for the family to turn down Tanya's request to see Glen one final time.

Put aside that they had a rough relationship. They truly, at that time, loved each other....respected each other as an artist and were two human beings who shared a part of their life together. It's wrong, IMO, to prevent that final goodbye to each other. Of course, it's the family's decision, but if I was in Glen's family, I would have told Tanya "YES, please come say goodbye to Glen".

If that is true, I think it is terrible that the family would deny her the chance to see Glen again. PERHAPS he did not want her to see him like that, or in that state of health. But if those around him denied the visit without his knowledge, well, I think that was wrong.

Wow! Such a beautiful tribute to Glen. My relationship with my ex husband was so unhealthy but I tried numerous times to make it work. It was toxic, but I really did love him. I kinda understand her feelings.

That was nice, I don't remember there relationship. I guess It was a very busy time in my life with kids and work, and didn't have time for pop culture. Too bad, beautiful song and she still sings great. I like the old Country Western, not the new. He was so cute. I remember that. The year 1976, I moved into my present home and the salesman that came out to do the drapes, yes drapes at that time, looked just like Glen Campbell. He got three of us gals as clients. Now 41 years later, still in the same house with Plaintation shutters. Wish I had got them 41 years ago, would have saved lots of money on changing and cleaning. They are beautiful, but then I would not have had the cutie of a salesperson. Ha-ha
