Apparently she was blindsided and chose not to renew her contract, despite being offered millions.

I just read that, it didn't surprise me at all.  It was pretty much a given that whenever her contract was up, she'd leave.  When you get big demotion like that after your employer brings in a "star"; the message is loud and clear.  "You are not part of future".  Hall is great at her job, she's gorgeous and articulate and well known....she'll land on her feet and do just fine.  She's the only one of that entire Today bunch that like.

Hopefully she finds great success in her next venture.  There are many others that do the various NBC morning hours that I would rather see go.

Agreed. I like Hall. Wish they would get rid of Kathy Lee and keep Honda with Hall. She doesn't get a goodbye send off. Today was her last day. My guess is her ID show will be cancelled as well.

Really stunning news.

About two weeks or so ago, she delivered the evening news for the absent Lester Holt.  She was superlative, I thought.  In fact, I was thinking that she might, sometime in the future, be selected to be NBC's evening news person.

Truly, for me, her delivery was easy to listen to and possessed the right degree of impersonality that should characterize delivery of the news.  Boy, I guess she has a future that is altogether different from what I was imagining for her during her week as the spokesperson for NBC's evening news.

I like her too.

She was on our local NBC station before going national.  There was something about her that you knew she would succeed.

I'm sure she'll turn up somewhere else - hopefully!

I liked her a lot when she became co-anchor, but I think success went to her head. But lately,  she was an attention grabber and acted too silly.  I'm sure she will surface on another network soon.

I will miss her.  She seemed to have great chemistry with her colleagues.  Then there was that fabulous wardrobe of hers. A tidbit  I found interesting, she and Prince were the best of friends and when possible, spoke every day.

I do wonder where she'll show up next.

For those who think she's silly, have you seen the Saturday co-host Sheinelle Jones?  Talk about silly and unprofessional.

i am not in the know.  Did they ax Tameron in favor of kathy lee?
