is leaving Today (the one following The Today Show). She will also be leaving MSNB. She is been replaced by Meghan Kelly. I was surprised to hear this. She will be truly missed.

That really is too bad.  I knew something like that would happen when I read that Meghan Kelly would be taking that hour.  Tameron did a small part (kind of a guest part) in the musical Chicago on the Today Show on Monday.   She, of course, did a very professional job and, wow, she really rocked the skimpy costume!!  She looked fabulous!

I'm really sorry to hear this - I don't know how I missed it as I watch MSNBC a lot.  Tamron has been one of my favorite daily anchors, and I hate to see her go.  I'm sure she will succeed in her future endeavors - she's one classy lady!

Will we also see the last of Al Roker?   I can only hope.   I like Tamron Hall though and will be sorry to see her go,  although I rarely watch Today.   I suppose she'll still have her job hosting on Discovery ID.   She does a good job there.

I just read somewhere that the Discovery ID show is an NBC production.  

I'll miss her on MSNBC.

I think she is talented and liked her at first, but she works too hard to grab attention all the time and make everything about her.  She constantly fishes for compliments and plays coy so much, I've gotten to where I really can't watch her.  She is so good, but she needs to back it down and listen to other people.

I am also very sorry to hear this.  She had become a real favorite, and I actually watched the Today Show primarily to see her.  Loved her enthusiasm and adored her fashion ssnse.

I am equally sorry to see that they are allowing Katie Couric back- even in a guest capacity (more or less).  I never watched when she was on the show initially and really do not enjoy her - sorry if you disagree.  I honestly do not care for the young women who usually appear on the show - neither one is impressuve. Actually I'm not wild about Al or Matt either.  

I don't watch the later show - love Hoda, can't stomach Kathy Lee. Looks like I am going to need to find a new morning show.  Suggestions?

NBC wanted to keep her but move her to another position as Meghan Kelly is taking the 9 am to 10:00 am Today time slot. She choose not to renew her contract at all for Today and MSNBC. She is gone. Al Roker is staying on until the fall when Meghan starts.

Sorry to hear this. I really like her. She is fun and I will miss seeing her.

Hopefully she will be finding something even better.

@Perkup I think the CBS Morning Show is the best of all of them. Interesting and informative without the silliness. 

Tamron is such a beautiful woman, she does seem to try too hard sometimes and it's over the top. I wish most people on morning shows would take it down a few notches, but that's just me and my preference.
