Just hard to believe. I ordered a pair of shoes from Zappos this morning at 9am, just received notice at 5:15pm that they have shipped.  I guess when you only sell a few items you can be really efficient.

@Kachina624 I meant they don't sell what QVC sells.  You know that.

Wow @grandma2pkmh that was fast shipping..I thought Target was okay shipping the next day but Zappos is leading the way!

I typically receive items from Zappos with 48 hours of ordering unless I order on a weekend then it takes 72 hours.  Amazon is just as fast.  Returns are just about as fast too and Zappos has free shipping both ways.

I'd never heard of Zappos until they figured in a post here some years ago.

I ordered one pair, found out my state required them to charge me tax, and they sent me the correct shoe in the wrong color.  I detest returns, so I kept the shoe!

I did order one other time. Fine experience that time, but their price was the same as at my local store which has excellent fitters, so I've kept my business local for now.

I have had to return shoes before and the shipping is free both ways but you do have to us UPS.  Thankfully we have a store just a few blocks from where we live.   I have a narrow foot so options are limited.  They have a decent selection of shoes in my width but their prices aren't any better than local retailers.  I just have a hard foot to fit.

Re: Talk about shipping

6pm.com has a better selection of narrow sizes. My grown daughter has "Barbie feet"; 5 1/2 narrow.....and she has to look everywhere for shoes that don't have Disney princesses or paw patrol on them!

I nominate the website Ulla Popken for the shipping award.  I occasionally order a couple of tees because they have beautiful prints.  If I order on a Sunday night, I get my order on the next Wednesday.  Their warehouse is in Germany and everything goes through customs.  Their shipping is a flat $10., regardless of how much you order.  They have good sales and occasional free shipping.
