Talk About Getting Your Money's Worth

At long last, my Ipod Nano purchased in 2007 finally died.

It kept on going strong for 16 years.  I used it countless times through thick and thin.

Of course, I have my Iphone with all my music but I was so accustomed to grabbing that little thing.  It was so light and easy to take with me anywhere.

Whatever amount I paid for it, well worth it.

I will miss it.

@Mersha, I'm glad you got so much enjoyment out of it, but it's still a bummer that it's gone for good.

I feel the same way about my car, a 2007 Honda. I dread the day that it'll no longer be worth fixing.

It's been a great little car!

All my sympathy to you.  I still have two later generation ones that work.

Started out with vinyl and worked my up.  Breaks my heart to see them go 😞

@sabatini    I hope I can say the same for my Honda.  It's a 2019...but the best car I have ever owned.  I plan to keep it as long as possible...

Re: Talk About Getting Your Money's Worth

I still have one that I was never able to figure out.  My grandkids at the time put some music on it, but i never used it.  and I have a 2006 Mustang that i don't want to part with either. I am older so it is not easy for me with new stuff. So, I guess I did not get my money's worth, Wish I did though!

I have a 2006 Kia Sorento that's still going strong, and looks great. I love that car as much today as the day I bought it. I'm going to cry when it goes to car heaven.  It's a part of our family.  :-)

We had our air conditioner for close to 26 years too!  If we could have continued getting freon for it, we would still have it to this day. haha   They just don't make things like they used to.

Hang on to your cars/things as long as you can!

My Nano still works, I don't know what year it is. I no longer use it.

I have a 2008 Toyato Highlander with 210,000 miles and dread the day I have to think about buying another car with all the electronics I don't need or want.

@Mersha.  If you want to replace it you may be able to find one on ebay?  I see older electronics often at estate sales some still new in box.
