@Kachina624 I don't open this type of email or text.  I delete without opening.  The sender can often tell when an email or text is opened, so they know there is a live person on the other end, and then sell the address to other scammers or send more messages themselves.  I think ignoring works best.  I am not free of unwanted mssgs, but don't get as many as others.  Also check your email settings to block spam.  I have a block (doesn't always work) but not delete setting in use.  The email system grabs the stuff, and I just take a look at the junkmail periodically, so don't get aggravated as much.  Sometimes junkmail grabs things it shouldn't, so I like to look before deleting.  But I can delete without opening and I think the sender doesn't know it reached a live person.

I get these periodically.  For a while, I was sending them to "phishing" addresses for the merchants.  After a while, I stopped.  Now, I just watch my credit and debit card accounts and will protest any charges I don't recognize.

I have been getting scam texts from UPS & Amazon.  I just hit report as scam and I haven't gotten it again, but I am sure I will at some point.

I got one of these for an Apple phone about a year ago.  I immediately canceled Paypal which I had for years.

Yes, as a poster suggested, ignoring the email is best.

Don't open anything suspicious.

Also: A few of my friends answer all sorts of phone calls, and end up having telemarketers' calls all day long.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I get those at least once a month. After talking to my bank, I know now not to respond or even open the email.
