Wow my DH surpised me. Earlier tonight he suddenly said I have a surprise, how soon can you be ready, we are going out? I got all showered and all pampered and was ready in no time! He is to be off work for my birthday this week (coming up), and we had plans together for the day. But due to the hurricane coming :-( he took me out for seafood early for my birthday! (It was the BEST fish I ever had sauted and stuffed with crab....mmmmm, compliments to the chef!). He said I didnt want to see your birthday ruined. What a dear my husband is.

THEN to my other surprise when we got home, my daughter called and said Mom, I cancelled my trip to NY because of Sandy and because we wont see you for your birthday this coming week due to the storm. She said we felt so bad, BUT dont worry Mom, we decided we are all coming Sunday just for a few hours, before the storm comes to celebrate early so get ready! Her family (her, my grandkids son in law) AND my son and his gfriend will all be coming in Sunday to celebrate my bday early!

So tomorrow afternoon is the get together, meal, gifts, and most of all the people I LOVE the most to celebrate! They are picking up food and the cake on the way! I feel so blessed. They all made my day!

I had told them not to worry we will do it all next weekend (late) because their safety is MORE important then my bday, but they all must have felt bad so they decided to do all this early. I was in tears. They are so good to me.

Take that hurricane Sandy.
