When my legs were amputated, I developed MRS and pseudomonas on the incision line. Took forever to heal, incuding skin graphs. I always had a fine line of scab that never really healed. After 14 years, I now have a significant ulceration.
I hae an appointment with wound care on Tuesday, but I think Inhave a long haul ahead of me. I have a progressive disease & my capillaries are getting smaller & smaller with time. Going to make healing very difficult.
