I used to buy them, when I was working. There was always a Mom who had their kids order sheet!

My father, was an old softie when it came to the kids at the door selling them. One year he ordered over 100 hundred boxes and passed them out to everyone he knew! My Mom banned him from purchasing in the future!

i had older sisters and myself who were brownies/GS.

so we always had cookies and my mom was 'Cookie Mother" a few years, so needless to say.....

my DD was a brownie, so off i went selling... 

now DH will buy a box here an there so its all good.

i did go door-to-door and did not think it was weird at all!  i sold a ton of cookies that way! and it was good experience talking/selling to adults.

I too stopped buying the Girl Scout cookies they are too expensive.  But I do every year after they come out put in an order at Buckeye Brownies.  He uses the Samoa and Tag-a-long Girl Scout Cookies in his brownies and places a whole cookie on the top of the brownie.  They are not on his website as of today but I am sure once Zach and his wife Ashley get their own order in the brownies will be for sale.  Great little company.

do si dos and thin mints were always my favorite .   Stopped buying them years ago as the taste is definitely not  same and the size is much smaller .   Certainly not like when I was a Girl Scout years ago .people would wait for March to arrive to buy there boxes !    My relatives would buy many boxes and my dad would take orders at the office from what I remember ,
