I should probably post this on Tech and Toys (or whatever that forum is called)--but thought I would ask here.
I have two pink bands across my TV reception. Back in the days of tube TVs, circa 1530, that meant the "picture tube" was about to go blooey.
I have used the manual adjustments, and I don't think there is any maladjustment.
My question: could this be a satellite transmission problem? My old TV, a nice Sony, isn't all that old (I keep things forever and am disappointed if they give out in 9 years, which is how long I have had this).
They don't even have picture tubes anymore, right? So why would the color be broken up into bands? Can it be the transmission from the satellite? Thanks for any help, ladies.
