TSV Tonight & A Question About Windows 8

I'm interested in the TSV for tonight, a Dell desktop.

It sounds like it comes with Windows 8 installed. Has anyone previewed Windows 8 and have an opinion on it?

What's up with the tiles? They don't show all the time, do they?
