Re: TOP TEN CELEBRITY-OWNED BUSINESSES

I have purchased from Fenty Beauty, Haus Labs and Rare Beauty and have loved all of them.

I received samples from The Outset, and thought their products seemed quite nice!

Interesting!

I buy nothing from this list.....not into supporting Hollywood names I guess.

Just curious ... do you think anyone in any type of entertainment (actor, singer, author, etc) is a "Hollywood" celebrity?

What I mean is @Tinkrbl44   the fact that they are in a movie, sing, dance, are famous....whatever,  does NOT influence me to buy their products.  I don't care who they endorse either.

The fact they have a 'name' doesn't make their products any better than anything else!

I am not going to buy a Kardarsian spanx JUST because of her name....I buy products based on the fact they perform, I like, I need, NOT whose name is on it.

have never seen it presented.....have you tried it?

@sunshine45

No, I am happy w/ what I am using .....I just happen to be clicking by and saw it on.  I watched for a few mins.

Didn't notice anything revolutionary or anything.....same varieties as other lines.  Moisturizers, cleansers, exfoliates....the usual.

I kinda put more stock in what some one like Rose Marie (RMS), Laura Geller, Mally, Dr. Denese have to say/sell since they have spent their entire lives IN the industry.

I feel the same way, but perhaps we're in the minority.

Thinking back to fragrances, Elizabeth Taylor had White Diamonds and something else ....  and it obviously sold well.   Then, everyone had something, it seems.

I won't wear clothing, carry handbags or buy fragrances because some celebrity has their name slapped on it.

I prefer the Bottega Veneta attitude .... "When your own initials are enough".

I wouldn't knowingly and willingly buy from any of them. They are ridiculous.

Ryan Reynolds sold Mint Mobile in March 2023 for 1.3 billion.  If that disqualifies him from this list then Dr. Dre should not be on it either.  He sold Beats several years ago to Apple for over 3 billion.

Yet he still does the ads, still speaks as though he's in charge and still touts Mint as more customer centric than the big companies...  Whatever it takes, one guesses...

I have bought many things from Honest co, the products are excellent. I buy for my great grandson.  I think they are a tad pricey, but I have gotten the clothes, diapers and a few other things. I have tried SKiMS, and I love the feel. But her brand is such a hard fit!!   Omg. I wear a medium, but in her brand an xl is tight for the cami, either it was too tight or too small.  I don't like a tight ,girdle type fit. I like just skimming the skin to smooth over bra under clothes. I just wear those YUMMY TUMMY camis as I have for years. I get those big too, to fit looser   THOSE ARE A CELEBRITY BRAND I HEARD, FROM SOME REALITY SHOW.  Everyone I know young or old loves the SKIM product, that has bought them.

Not sure what you mean.  You think the celebrities are ridiculous ... or the products?
