TMJ

I know this has been discussed before, but I need your input. I have been told that I have had TMJ for years. Yet, no dentist has suggested anything to help even though I ask! I can take the jaw hurting at times and I do know that I clench and grind my teeth and my jaw will crack. Does anyone ever have one side of their jaw feel stiff or moves out of place and the teeth feel out of line and not sitting correctly mouth is closed. I need a filling on that side with may never be done with the way my face feels now! Any suggestions if these are TMJ symptoms and what can I do! Thanks
