TL,DR means: too long, didn't read. I'm beginning to see people posting whole articles rather than links. So you don't know what they are saying. Just what the copied post is saying.

Actually, it doesn't matter to me whether it's a long article being reposted, or just a lengthy post, I just scan over lenthy posts.

If I'm interested, I'll read no matter how long the post. If I'm not, I don't. More often than not, I'm not, so I don't.

People stop posting links because they were being deleted by the mods. A lot of people don't like to click on links to other sites either.
Like @SaRina said, if I'm interested, I'll read it no matter the length.
