There is a thrift store that I go to any time I am in the area where it is and occasionally I find a really neat item.  This time I saw a  complete set of  Samantha Brown luggage:  big stuitcase, smaller suitcase, jewelry case, another storage case, dowel tote bag and wallet:  all matching pieces.  It's an older set in the dark gold with brown croco pattern.  There are some scuffs on the two suitcase pieces but the others are pristine.  All the zippers work and there is no wear and tear on any item.  No stains inside.  I bought the dowel tote for $8 (priced on HSN @ $89.99) and the matching jewelry case for $7 (HSN price $39.99).  Absolutely beautiful to me and something I can use since I don't travel anywhere over 2 days.  Wish I had picked up the wallet, but really don't need it.

Any one else have some good thrift store finds to share?

Not at a thrift store, but picked up a 7-quart Le Creuset covered Dutch oven for $20 at an estate sale.  Got there right as the doors opened and went straight to the kitchen goods.

@Jk9  I was recently gifted for my birthday Samanth Brown luggage.  This is the 20" which I used for the 1st time during my July 4th mini vacation.

At Tanger Outlets, I purchaed Reebok "REAL" sweatpants (32" inseam) - 2 pairs $20 total.  They tacked on my AARP discount 20% (Ended 7/1/) ontop of their storewide 70%-80% sale (still going on).  Went back & got the matching tops for the same price.

Hightops (white & deep pink) $25.00 - 70% off plus 20% AARP discount.

I'm now set for fall clothing & shoes. Smiley LOL

@Mz iMac Love the color of your luggage!  You definitely found some nice buys too at the outlet.  I love outlet shopping!

I got a Samantha Brown Overnighter? I think it's called on Ebay.  It's the half-sized one that you can take on the plane.  I really only needed it so I could carry my laptop with me and none of the bags I had would carry it all.  I actually had a small bag I could fit everything except the laptop and put under the seat in front of me.  But, then I'd have to take a bag for the computer which actually could also slide under the seat in front of me.  But, no, that's 2 bags and the people checking you onto the plane won't allow that even though I'm freeing up overhead bin space.  So, now, I have to use the overhead bin and make sure I get my tablet out before it goes up there which holds up traffic boarding the plane.

I don't shop at thrift stores but I recently got a GREAT deal on EBay. I picked up a lady Hagen skort for $9.95 with free shipping. The same style is at Dicks sporting goods for over $60. It was new with the tags on.

Everyone got some great deals.  @deepwaterdotter  Wow, you really scored with that dutch oven!  What color is it?

My biggest score lately was $76 dollars worth of misc stuff at CVS, I got for $23 with my coupons and rewards.  Happy!

I used to be a real great thrifter...found the most fabulous bargains and very high quality things and many of them were brand new. I miss those days since now the stores I used to use are either closed since they didn't survive the Covid lockdown or the prices are so ridiculously high now i can buy new for what they are asking. Congrats to any of you who are scoring so well! Nothing like the thrill of the hunt and finding a great deal!
